China virus – Canada awards new contract for security to China

Ezra Levant of Rebel News has a new book out titled “China Virus.” Everyone should read it. It is only 75 pages and summarizes Canada’s involvement with China. Of course, Amazon has cancelled it twice – all the more reason to read it.

And today we see that Canada can’t help itself. China controls Canada.

Now the federal government has awarded a contract to a Chinese government-owned company for security equipment at our embassies and consulates around the world. Here is part of the article on the topic from The National Post:

"The government of Canada has awarded an estimated $6.8 million contract to a state-owned Chinese company to supply security equipment for 170 embassies, consulates and high commissions around the globe.

The contract for conveyor-style X-ray machines was awarded to Beijing-based Nuctech Company, a company owned by the Chinese government and founded by the son of former General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, Hu Jintao.”

You got that? Not only has the government awarded a contract to a Chinese government-owned Company but that the contract is for . . . what? Security equipment for embassies and consulates!

Have we lost our collective minds?

Apparently it was the lowest bid (An American Company had bid higher) so forget the country’s security.

Can you believe this? Money does not appear to be a concern for the government on $900 million for its friends, no tenders. But suddenly it is on $6.8 million for security?

P.S. Here is a contract I found to We Charity last year for $24,000, no tender, and no indication of what the money was to be used for . . . Oh . . . other professional services not otherwise specified.
