Rae defines role he evnisions as ambassador to United Nations
Former Ontario premier Bob Rae has been appointed Canada's ambassador to the United Nations. The former interim federal Liberal Party leader (2011 – 2013) said his job No. 1 is to convince Canadians of the continued importance of the UN.
Canada will be central to efforts to rebuild a successful world order, and adding nothing short of that will do. CBC REPORT.
Our government plans to convince us that the United Nations, dominated by autocrats, dictators, socialists, tyrants and warlords is vitally important to the interests of Canada. Not only that but it is determined to fit Canada into a “successful world order” whether we like it or not.
That is not democratic representative government. Trudeau and cohorts are unconcerned over their constitutional, legal and moral obligations to the wellbeing, safety and security of Canadians.
Now that is clear, let’s look at the reality: UN Human Rights Council Overwhelmingly Supports China’s Crackdown On Hong Kong. See the DAILY WIRE report by Ashe Schow.
Current members of the UN Human Rights Council, elected by secret ballot January, 2020 to serve for three years are: Armenia, Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Libya, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Namibia, Netherlands, Poland, Republic of Korea, Sudan and Venezuela. They are figureheads who may set policy for the UN but the corrupt and political General Assembly pays no attention.
The resolutions referred to were made to and voted on by the General Assembly which is the main power in the UN. Note that the none of the five members of the Security Council with veto power chose to quash the resolution. That tells us just how important the Security Council really is.
We must withdraw our membership in the United Nations. The UN is promoting the serfdom we rejected 805 years ago June 15 when the Magna Carta was signed in 1215, ending the rule of kings and starting us on the road to modern democracy.
