Carney, man of destiny, arises to revolutionize society

Mark Carney ultimately wants is a technocratic dictatorship justified by climate alarmism

Carney is an academic and bureaucrat, graduating from Harvard in 1988, then on to the University of Oxford at St Peter’s college and Neufeld college, where he receives a master’s degree (1993) and doctoral degree (1995). He joined Goldman Sachs in 1990 and spent 13 years with the firm.

In 2003 he joined the Bank of Canada and, in 2004, became an associate Deputy Minister of Finance.

In 2007, Carney was appointed Governor of the Bank of Canada. In 2012, Carney was appointed Governor of the bank of England.

In 2020, Carney was appointed as United Nations special envoy for climate action and finance and was appointed vice-chairman at Brookfield Asset Management. He leads the firm’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) and impact fund investment strategy.

Carney has never been elected or been held accountable for anything. He has never raised capital to start a business or met a payroll but claims that he will do a better job of running Canada than we can.

The financial crisis we endure was caused by politicians flailing about trying to contain the spread of a virus and failing. Their tactics put severe stress on the small business sector, which is the primary engine of our economy and our largest employer by far.

Canada was built by people determined to live in a democracy under the rule of law where persons could exercise inalienable rights and freedoms.

Freedoms and rights carry with them accountability and responsibility. We have the right to be wrong, and if we make poor choices, we suffer the consequences. Our freedoms are not negotiable. We will not return to the rule of kings no matter what Carney chooses to call it.

Instead of studying Karl Marx (1818 – 1883), Fredrick Engels (1820 – 1895), and Vladimir Lenin (1870 – 1924), he might read through the history of the Magna Carta (1215 - present). We are not about to toss away 806 years of development of British common law because Carney feels we have too many freedoms, and he wants to control us.

When Mr. Carney and his lot show us they can exercise control over China or Russia, we will give them a hearing. Approaching us with a discredited climate change scam indicates defective analytical abilities.
