About Me

I am a small business owner and have a B.Sc. in Biology and an M.A. Human and Social Development.  I’ve worked in the prison system as a registered clinical counsellor and currently own and operate a tree service business.    I have recently converted my business into a worker-owned cooperative.

I have always been active in the community serving as a board member on several non-profits.  During my time on council,  I was elected by my peers to serve as a director-at-large on the Union of BC Municipalities. In that role, I lobbied the province on behalf of all BC local governments for greater action on affordable housing, homelessness, community safety and climate change.
