Hello to all our Kettle Volunteers, Welcome to the 2022 Kettle Campaign.
The kettle team for 2022 is Dawne, BrendaLea and Marie. Please feel free to speak to any of us at 250-824-0324 or 250-740-1004.
The time to begin is fast approaching as kettles will begin on Friday, November 18. It will be a soft start again this year. Nov. 18 and 19 and the Nov. 24, 25, 26, and then we begin Monday-Saturday starting on Nov. 28.
year we are excited to offer a NEW location. We will be at Best Buy in Country Club Mall.
Our Kettle stands will also have the Tap Machines attached to them. The same as last year. They were a great success bringing in more than
$54,000 from people “Tapping” our machines.
This year we will not be having any stipulations about being vaccinated and so we are hoping that we have many more Volunteers.
you are at a location that we can ring the bells at, we will provide bells for you use.
We are asking that everyone attend our Orientation meeting (date to be announced) which will take place at our Church at 505 8th St. This is
where we can meet you (as many of you we just know your voice on the phone and you can pick up your volunteer identification badge (important numbers will be on the back) and information package. It is important that you have your volunteer identification
badge before your shift to confirm that you are a Salvation Army volunteer to the person you are replacing.
The shifts are all 2 1/2 hours as follows:
10:30am to 1:00pm
1:00pm to 3:30pm
3:30pm to 6:00pm
6:00pm to 8:30pm
We have attached the sign-up sheets and calendars for you to complete and send back to us.
We will contact you with confirmation about your shifts as soon as we have them booked.
